## **On-boarding Options**

There are two main approaches to LDH on-boarding:

1. **Self-Service On-boarding**
   * Suitable for organizations with strong internal technical and legal expertise
   * Includes access to LDH documentation, API references, and best practice guides
   * Allows teams to independently connect systems, configure governance, and set up use cases
   * Recommended for advanced users who are confident in integrating external legal data sources without additional support
2. **Tailor-Made On-boarding (Recommended)**
   * Delivered in collaboration with **LDA** and **content partners**
   * Customized to your organization’s specific goals, technical infrastructure, and governance requirements
   * Includes:
     * Strategic workshops to refine business cases
     * Guided technical integration sessions
     * Governance and compliance setup assistance
     * Training for legal and technical teams
     * Joint exploration of innovative AI-driven use cases
   * Ensures optimal alignment between LDH capabilities and organizational objectives
   * Maximizes ROI through expert guidance and curated partner data insights

## **Steps to Begin On-boarding**

1. **Readiness Assessment**
   * Evaluate your organization against the [**LDH Readiness Pillars**](/legal-data-analytics-v1/integration/ldh-readiness.md)
   * Identify strengths and gaps
2. **Select On-boarding Approach (see above)**
   * Decide between **Self-Service** or **Tailor-Made** based on resources, skills, and desired outcomes
3. **Engage with** [**LDA and the Content Partner**](/legal-data-analytics-v1/introduction/content-and-content-partnerships.md)
   * Contact the LDA team to initiate the process and gain access credentials
   * Discuss integration timelines and partner data packages
4. **Integration & Configuration**
   * Connect the LDH API to your internal systems

5. **Training & Best Practices**

   * Gather feedback and refine integration for broader adoption
